Carolina Ponyfoot

Carolina Ponyfoot (Dichondra carolinensis) is a charming native groundcover perfect for naturalized gardens and landscapes. Available in a 4" pot, this low-growing plant thrives in a variety of conditions and is a great choice for supporting local ecosystems.

This ground cover grows really well with all the other native ground covers we carry! Horseherb, Frgfruit, Silver Ponyfoot and Woolly Stemodia. All of these take well to foot traffic and maintainance just like grasses do and they are a much better alternative when it comes to water usage too!
